I started designing when I was ridiculously young. I was 8 when I helped make our elementary school’s first website, and this led to me begging my parents tirelessly for a computer of our own. When I was 10 or so, they gave in, and it’s the best thing that could have ever happened to me. This 24-hour access to the pre-millennial internet allowed my young mind to soak up some invaluable primary knowledge; I self-taught myself HTML and later CSS coding, I started doing graphic design on JASC Paint Paint Shop Pro (later I made the move to Adobe) and started purchasing my own web domains and adjoining hosting. This knowledge at such a young age allowed me to start my own web and graphic design business by the time I was 15… along with a few other businesses. To say I had the entrepreneurship bug would be an understatement; to date, I’ve owned and/or managed various clothing lines, a modeling agency, event planning and catering company and a magazine. Although all of these projects didn’t soar, they taught me invaluable lessons about taking true ownership of a brand and how your design is a huge piece of the puzzle, but only a piece. My mission is not to design graphics and websites. My mission is to work with you to understand the goals of your business or brand and then plan and design strategically. I’m not just a designer, I’m a branding expert. Ready to get to work?
